Sample Answers

What’s the weather like where you live? Well, I live in a city with a pretty moderate climate, so the weather is usually quite pleasant. We get four distinct seasons, which I really enjoy. In the summer, it's warm but not too hot, and in the winter, it's cold but not freezing. I think the spring and autumn are my favorite seasons, though - the temperatures are mild, and the scenery is just beautiful.

Do you prefer hot or cold weather? I'd have to say I'm more of a warm-weather person. I love spending time outdoors, and when it's hot, I can go to the beach, go hiking, or just hang out in the park. Plus, I think warm weather always puts me in a good mood. That being said, I do enjoy a good winter wonderland scene every now and then, but overall, I prefer the sunshine.

Do you prefer dry or wet weather? I think I prefer dry weather, mainly because I hate getting caught in the rain without an umbrella. But at the same time, I think a little bit of rain can be nice - it's great for the environment, and it's always nice to have an excuse to stay indoors and catch up on some reading or a movie. I guess it really depends on my mood and what I have planned for the day.

How often do you check the weather forecast? I'd say I check the weather forecast pretty regularly, especially if I have plans to go outside. I usually check it in the morning when I'm getting ready for work, and then again in the evening to see what the next day is looking like. I also have a weather app on my phone that sends me notifications if there's going to be any severe weather, so that's always helpful.

What do you think have been the effects of climate change in recent years on the weather? I think it's pretty clear that climate change has had a huge impact on the weather in recent years. I've noticed that the weather seems to be getting more and more unpredictable - we'll have these huge storms that come out of nowhere, or really intense heatwaves that last for weeks. And it's not just where I live - I've been following the news, and it seems like there are natural disasters happening all over the world. It's really scary to think about what the future might hold if we don't start taking action.

Would you like to visit a city that has a climate that’s different from where you live? Absolutely! I think it would be really interesting to experience a completely different climate. I've always wanted to visit a city like Dubai or Abu Dhabi - I've heard the heat is just incredible, and I'm curious to see how people adapt to living in such a hot environment. Or maybe a city like Reykjavik, where it's cold and snowy all the time. I think it would be a really cool experience to see how different cultures deal with different climates.
