Sample Answers

What films do you like? I'm a big fan of sci-fi movies, especially ones that explore the future of humanity. I love how they challenge my thinking and make me consider the possibilities of what's to come. For example, I recently watched 'Blade Runner 2049' and it really made me think about what it means to be human.

Did you often watch films when you were a child? Oh, all the time! My parents would take me to the video store every Friday night and I'd pick out a new movie to watch. I was obsessed with Disney films, especially 'The Lion King'. I think it's because I loved the music and the characters were so memorable. It's funny, even now I can still remember all the words to 'Hakuna Matata'!

Did you ever go to the cinema alone when you were a child? Actually, I did! My parents would drop me off at the cinema on a Saturday morning and I'd watch a matinee showing of the latest cartoon. I think it was a way for them to get some time to themselves, but I loved the freedom of being able to choose what I wanted to watch. Plus, it was a great way to escape into a different world for a few hours.

Do you often go to the cinema with your friends? Yeah, we love going to the cinema together! It's a great way to catch up and experience something new together. We usually try to go on a Friday night after work and make a night of it. We'll grab dinner at a restaurant nearby and then head to the cinema. It's a great way to unwind and have some laughs together.

Do you think going to the cinema is a good way to spend time with friends? Absolutely! I think it's a great way to bond over shared interests and have some quality time together. Plus, it's a low-key activity, so you don't have to worry about making too much conversation or anything. You can just relax and enjoy the movie. And afterwards, you can discuss it and share your thoughts and opinions, which is always a great way to spark some interesting conversations.
