Sample Answers

Is there anything that has made you feel happy lately? Actually, I recently got a promotion at work, and that's been a huge source of happiness for me. I mean, it's not just about the extra pay, but also the recognition of my hard work and the new challenges that come with it. It's been a real confidence booster, and I feel like I'm making progress in my career.

What made you happy when you were little? Oh, I was a total bookworm as a kid, and getting lost in a good story always put a huge smile on my face. I think what made it so special was the way it allowed me to escape reality and explore new worlds. My parents would read to me every night before bed, and it was just the best feeling, you know, being all snuggled up and transported to a different place.

What do you think will make you happy in the future? I've always dreamed of traveling the world, and I think that's what will bring me happiness in the future. There's just something about immersing yourself in different cultures and meeting new people that I find really appealing. I'm planning to take a year-long sabbatical soon, and I'm super excited to explore new places and try new things.

When do you feel happy at work? Why? I feel happy at work when I'm working on a project that I'm really passionate about. I think it's because I feel like I'm making a real contribution, and that my work is having a positive impact. Plus, when I'm doing something I love, the time just flies by, and I feel like I'm in my element.

Do you feel happy when buying new things? Honestly, I don't really get a thrill from buying new things. I mean, sure, it's nice to treat yourself every now and then, but I don't think it's a sustainable source of happiness. I'd much rather spend my money on experiences, like traveling or taking a cooking class, than on material possessions.

Do you think people are happy when buying new things? I think some people might get a temporary high from buying new things, but I'm not sure it's a lasting source of happiness. I mean, research has shown that the novelty of a new purchase wears off pretty quickly, and people often end up feeling just as unhappy as they did before. I think true happiness comes from within, and can't be bought.
