Sample Answers

Does your name have a special meaning? Actually, my name has a pretty interesting story behind it. My parents chose it because it means 'hope' in our native language, and they wanted to give me a name that would inspire me to be optimistic and positive throughout my life. I think it's a beautiful meaning, and it's something that I try to live up to every day.

How would you choose a name for a child? If I had to choose a name for a child, I would want it to be a name that reflects their personality or characteristics. I think it's really important to choose a name that suits the child, rather than just picking something that sounds good. For example, if my child was born with a fiery personality, I might choose a name that means'strong' or 'brave'. I think it's a way to give them a sense of identity and purpose from a young age.

Are there any differences between the names people chose for their children in the past, and the names they choose now? Definitely. I think in the past, people tended to choose more traditional names that were passed down through generations. Nowadays, people are more open to choosing unique and creative names that reflect their cultural background or personal style. For example, in my country, it's become more common for parents to choose names that have a strong cultural or historical significance. I think it's a way for parents to connect their child to their heritage and roots.

Does anyone in your family have the same name as you? Actually, my grandmother and I share the same name. It's a family tradition to pass down names to the next generation, and I feel really honored to carry on her name. I think it's a way to keep her memory alive and to feel connected to her, even though she's no longer with us.

Are there any names that are very popular in your country? Yeah, there are a few names that are really popular in my country right now. I think one of the most popular names for girls is 'Ava', and for boys, it's 'Liam'. I'm not really sure why these names are so popular, but I think it's because they're both short and easy to pronounce, and they have a strong, modern sound to them. Plus, they're both names that have a lot of cultural significance and history, which I think appeals to a lot of parents.
