Sample Answers

Do you usually help people around you? Yeah, I try to help out when I can. I mean, we all need a hand sometimes, right? I've helped friends move into new apartments, or just been a listening ear when they need someone to talk to. I figure it's just part of being a good friend, you know?

How do you help people, for example friends, neighbors, and family? Well, I help out in different ways. For friends, it's usually just being there for them, you know, emotionally. For neighbors, I've helped with yard work or running errands for them. And for family, I try to pitch in with household chores or help with cooking meals. It's all about sharing the load, you know?

Did your parents teach you how to help others? Absolutely. My parents were always big on volunteering and helping those in need. They taught me that everyone needs a hand sometimes, and it's our responsibility to lend a helping hand. They'd take me to volunteer at local soup kitchens or help out at community events, and it really instilled in me the importance of giving back.

Did your parents help you a lot when you were young? Oh, yeah. My parents were super supportive. They helped me with my homework, drove me to practices, and just were always there for me. They taught me how to be independent, but also how to ask for help when I needed it.

What kinds of things have you done to help the elderly? I used to volunteer at a local nursing home, just chatting with the residents, playing games, or watching movies with them. It was really rewarding, you know? They'd tell me stories about their lives, and I'd listen for hours. I also helped out with some light housekeeping or running errands for them. It was a great experience.
