Sample Answers

Do you like science? I've always been fascinated by science, especially physics and chemistry. I think it's because I love understanding how things work and why things happen. It's amazing to me how science can explain the world around us, from the smallest particles to the vastness of space.

When did you start to learn about science? I started learning about science in elementary school, but I think my interest really took off when I was in high school. We had a great science teacher who made the subject really engaging and interactive, and that's when I started to explore different areas of science, like biology and environmental science.

Which sciences do you find most interesting? I find physics and astronomy really captivating. I love learning about the laws of motion, gravity, and the behavior of subatomic particles. And astronomy is just mind-blowing – the idea that there are billions of galaxies out there, each with its own unique characteristics, is just incredible.

What kinds of interesting science experiments have you done? One experiment that comes to mind is when we made a volcano erupt in class using baking soda and vinegar. It was a simple experiment, but it was amazing to see the chemical reaction happen right before our eyes. We also did an experiment with magnets and electricity, which was really cool. We built a simple circuit and watched as the electricity flowed through it.

Do you like watching TV programs about science? Yeah, I love watching documentaries about science and nature. There's a show called Cosmos that I really enjoy – it's all about the universe and the laws of physics. I also like watching shows about space exploration and the latest discoveries in the field.

Do people from your country like to visit science museums? Definitely. I think people in my country are really curious about science and technology, and science museums are a great way to learn about it in a hands-on way. We have some amazing science museums in my country that are really popular with families and students.
